Cannot install on Windows 7

[Continuum]

I am trying to install the old PC3000 UDMA on windows 7 but when it tries to save the file to authorise (the arf file), a message comes up saying

"storage file saving error: cannot CREATE file"

Has anyone had this issue, and if so, how did you get around it?

It is a 32bit system of windows 7.

Apparently this has something to do with outlook (which is not installed on this machine).

Does anyone know what the arf file needs to write to the drive?
