I Also would like to add here something:

The more you use it, and the more you understand the UDMA & practice you will love it more.

The key to success is always from my experience with: Brain Storming Applications, where you put all of your notes which you daily get into a form of visible and easy to understand and figure relations
specially in Modules & Families.

I was happy today really and this is a credit for this product when i closed the subject of Samsung hdd`s in almost all aspects, and the key of this goes to my notes/research added into my Brain Storming well organized relations charts .

And before, i closed the WD Smartware subject as well, based on my notes, others comments which all went into the Brain Storming App. and figured out the solution for it.

Thnx for this acelab, and wish you all the best. (with the new updates  )

Today only i discovered in Total 3 ways of solving Slow SA Access in WD

1- Without Loader
2- Without Original ROM (if someone wrote wrong ROM - which most of the time i get cases here)
3- With Loader if you have it

3 Diff. case scenarios each one of them has its own way, all leads to same destination here depends on each case if you have or do not have loader to fix, or the 3rd. case when idiots play n write wrong rom to it.

Seems daily am getting more in love with my udma tool here :>

It can be solved in any way where SA access is possible, hotswap, short circuit, loader, non-native ROM... etc

I agree, I love my PC3000 also :)

AJ, are you saying WD PCBs can be shorted like a Seagate PCB to get the drive ready? Do you know if there is any further information about this anywhere (this site or any other)?
