Mammoth utility corrupts ROMs when modifying or writing

Activities within the PC3000 UDMA Mammoth WDC to write to ROM invariably corrupt the ROM.

This happens every time.

Today I had a WD800BB-00JFxx ROM ruined when I tried to change heads map. I had saved image of ROM earlier, but it will not reprogram the ROM without corruption.

I can write a Mammoth ROM to a PCB of another family, and then physically transfer the ROM and it will work.

Please confirm and correct this flaw.
