I don't think .dvr is a standard. DVR manufacturers could have proprietary formats/codecs and just append .dvr to the file name. Can you get the DVR manufacturer name and model number?

In most cases you can use VLC player. Go to Tools then Preferences then in Advance Preferences go to Input/ Codecs then in Demuxers set H264 Video Demuxer. Save it and try to open your file. Hope it works 8)

You can try DVR Examiner (http://dvrexaminer.com), after registration you have a 30 day trial.

Unfortunately, that trial only lets you view and extract the very oldest clip of video recorded by each camera. It's only useful to see if the ridiculously overpriced software might work in your case. Why they limit it to 30 days when it's already 99.9% handicapped is a true mystery.

Ok. The case is Finish Positiv :-) Client is happy but the files is open by DVR Player software... And recoverable data must mi adaptive to index files... because the recorded movies is a 16 cameras per one file... And many many files insexed in DVR Player can be opening as 16 camersa windows per one camer = one window... And then the files are is good to watching...

This is VERY DIFFICULT Case Many Many Time to work witch this case
