Who does cleanroom recoveries on Helium drives? I haven't attempted a cleanroom recovery on a Helium drive, nor have I even experimented to see if a good drive is ruined by breaking the seal / how long they last with regular air... if at all.
Anyone know if re-sealing with Helium would be absolutely necessary vs just advised?

Are there any labs out there with good experiences working on them (to refer out to)?

The fact that they are helium, in and of itself, isn't so much of the issue. They're easy enough to open, and refilling wouldn't be that hard to accomplish. It's even been demonstrated that some will work w/o the helium inside.

The real problem right now is that they're all brand new architectures of drives, and tend to not play nice with replacement heads for some reason. Right now, it's a matter of waiting for more reverse engineering to be done and a better understanding of the architectures. I honestly haven't heard of anyone having much success with them so far.
