No, we do not need to add additional solder tin into the end of wire. We just need to "wash" wire in rosin, when you will start to solder it to BGA balls on monolith, rosin will remove all oxids from cupper and will allow us to make better and more tough solder.

USB Solder iron needle is very thin. It will not melt nearby pins even if you heat it up to +300C
