Logic Analyzer usage

Postby procurement » 17.10.19, 09:16

Hi,

I need to use Logic analyzer to identify the pinouts of my microSD, but i never work before on logic analyzer. I need help and some manual or videos about how to use Logic Analyzer with microSD Monolith.

Thank you

Start with http://www.onfi.org/specifications to undertand how flash memory works - then you schould be familiar how infact LA works (how it grab your data on edge arise or end of signal).

This weekend I have tried to find PINout of my card. :) I have borrowed logical analyzer SIGMA 2 from my friend, and played with it. It is not easy...
I do not know, if it good way... I use SpiderBoard and Card reader mode. Power PIN for triggering

Yes it's OK - most universal is DS Logic+, check connection here - https://youtu.be/hCU_os5QO0g
If got bigger budget can look for LA Zero - usage of this as shown here - https://youtu.be/8yLEorI2Uis

Yes Boguslaw, we have DS Logic+ from you... Good product... Pls,do you have some automatic script for DS Logic+ to autodetect type of NAND signals (CE, RB1,...) after power-on? Or it is only by your eyes?

You need to track signals manually
