I just connected a microSD card via the adapter as the first point of assessment and PC3K-flash suggested that it could not read the chip. But, when I just put the microSD card into an SD card adapter and connected it to a windows system, I what appears to be full sector level access.
I'll get more details about the adapter errors after I get the full image. Perhaps it is a one-time detection...who knows at this point.
