Hi
I have a Sony XQD card coming in one of these days.. Card is not showing up chen customer plugs it into his reader, and camera tells "unknown media".
Anyone have experience with these cards? Common problems (particular for this type of card). What kind of chips is usually inside?
Thanks

Re: Sony XQD card
Here is an example of chip off from Sony XQD card:
http://www.flash-extractor.com/library/ ... a4_93__4x4
It uses PS5005 controller that should be recoverable. I could find no solutions at global solution center, but I am confident recovery could be made within PC3000 with help of support if needed

Great, thanks AJ.
Re: Sony XQD card
According to TS, PC3000 currently doesn't support PS5005 controller or the ECC/XOR on this card. I might try a donor card, but because these costs about EUR 250-300 I was wondering.. has anyone here tried the solution mentioned above?
