PWR ON Error on Channel VCC - failed NAND?

Hello all,

I have a LGA chip in, which when a Chip ID command is sent recognises the chip correctly (Chip ID and number of parts etc), but then gets a VCC error. I've tried manually defining the chip, but on read attempts just provides a read-out of "00".

Any thoughts, has the NAND failed with an internal short? The chip has been cleaned and is correctly orientated.

Thanks.

Out put and screen shot below:

Hi,
Please use another LGA Chip And Try Reading It If That Works Then Its a Shorted Chip Most Prob

I have tried with another LGA chip from a different memory stick which had been previously recovered as OK - chip identifies and reads fine. It looks like this chip has problems, I presume that this short was the original reason for failure. I presume nothing can be done in this case?
