Hello guys.

I got in a SanDisk U3 Cruzer 8Gb usb stick, no power. I repaired it, now is working, detect good capacity, but all zeros. Customer told us that the usb drive just stoped working and nothing more was done on it. Chip ID sdynlldhsp-008g
Just wanted an opinion to understand if there's anything more we can try on it.

Thank you guys

If the controller is supported you can try reading the NAND with PC-3000 Flash or similar.

Noticed the controller is a SanDisk 20-82-00162-2 , for what I saw this one use encryption.

I removed it anyway and here is the chip, do you know what type of BGA this is?

Yes I believe that controller is encrypted.
