Sync By Marker

Hello.
Could someone please explain?
What is Sync By Marker?
I have a USB flash drive (16GB) that stopped responding.
I disassembled it and performed a chip-off. The controller is an SM3281L.
I found the chip ID is 453E98E3, and the memory chip marking is SDUNCIAMA-064G.
Plane0 is all FFs, Plane1 has ID 3418, the XOR succeeded, and I found the correct PageTransformation.
I found many good files using RawRecovery.
I found a similar solution in SolutionCenter, but I don't understand what “Sync By Marker” means.

Hello. It's a very complex case. I recommend you to make a ticket. ACE Lab engineers will guide you.
