Hello.
I have a problem with two pendrives, which the pc3000-flash program (ver 7.3.9) does not detect the solution properly, and when I try to do it myself, the correct XOR is missing.
1. GOODRAM 16GB. TC58NC6625G6F controller - TC58TEG7DDKTA00, 0x983AA493 memory. Only XOR ID2426 is available. The solution is available for the PS2251 and CBM2099 controller
2. ADATA 8GB. IT1172E controller - MT29F64G08Cxxxx, 0x2C64444B memory. The XOR ID603 I wanted to use is missing. An available solution for everything else, but not for this controller. The solution for this chip is available on the website for two memory.
It looks like the program chooses a solution and XOR based on memory. Is it normal?
XOR missing?

Re: XOR missing?
Not to state the obvious, but did you correct ECC before searching for the XOR? And are you sure it needs XOR by looking at the bitmap.
Re: XOR missing?
Of course I tried ECC correction. But another 16GB GOODRAM flash drive based on TC58NC6623G6F with TC58NVG7T2JTA00 0x983AA892 memory - the program finds the correct solution and allows you to use the appropriate XOR ID

Re: XOR missing?
Are you just trying to use the solutions?
If yes, this will only solve about 25% of your cases.
The others need a little brainpower.

Better to make a ticket. Our engineers will guide you remotely.

Re: XOR missing?
@Roman_TS no offense, but that's what I expected from you "take a ticket". These are test pendrives (functional) for learning, I had some free time and wanted to practice. I understand that you earn on support, but I am not asking for a complete solution, but I am asking why the program is behaving this way and not otherwise.
By asking this question, I expected such an answer: "take a ticket"
Following this "take a ticket" method, what is this forum for?
Of course, no offense ...

Re: XOR missing?
@mrdoktro you seem to take offence at every suggestion made to you.
I do not know you or your experience level. This maybe the first time you have used PC-3000 Flash which is why I asked about ECC correction. We don't know because you don't tell us. I asked if you used only the solutions because you will not solve cases that way, you chose not to answer it.
Ace Lab tech support is just that, support. You can explain your issues to them and ask them to show you how to progress to the next step which is what Roman is offering.
Responders on forums give up their time free to help others, but we soon learn who is prepared to accept help and who ignores it and is a waste of time trying.
Of course, no offence ...

@d_d_recovery - But I didn't ask them to solve the case, just why the program is behaving this way.

Without them logging in, how are they supposed to know.
Re: XOR missing?
OKAY. I'm sorry I got carried away. I think I already know the answer to my question.

We do not provide Technical Support on this forum. If you have a question, and you want to get a reply from ACE Lab engineers - you have to make a ticket. It's our rules. But if you want to discuss your cases with other customers - ACElab forum is a good place for that. Unfortunately, I still didn't completely understand what exactly you want - get help, or just to speak with other DR engineers.
