Hello, second time, I should to recover data from (second bad flash drive this model) flash drive EMTEC 32GB. There are 2 chips ZDY29F128G08FFAAA and SM3257EN controller. PC-3000 can not read ID the chip and find scheme for reading. Both chips was good unsoldered in both flash drives. But via READ id the same errors. ID uncorred and Overcurrent detected. If I choose 500mA current limit... same error. If when the situation was at one flash drive, I can say bad chips.... But this situation repeat second time with same result. Rotate chip on socket could not help too.
Where can be problem? Does PC-3000 Flash 7.3.9. support this memory chip?

Re: flash drive EMTEC 32GB - can not read chip
Hello Radovan. You know my personal email and our TS system, where you ask me before
Better to send requests directly to me or in TS - we do not provide support on forum.
P.S. This chip i supported. Contact me and we will check it together.

Re: flash drive EMTEC 32GB - can not read chip
Hello Roman, I know…. I thing, that answer about my question could by help others… I can use TS next week, because this week I use TS for HDD... I will wait to monday to follow the rule and create ticket. Thank you..

Re: flash drive EMTEC 32GB - can not read chip
He-he, ok! BTW - you can use TS for Flash, HDD, and other tools at the same time
Don't be shine and send us requests!
We will try our best.

Re: flash drive EMTEC 32GB - can not read chip
There is picture in the replay. You can see non ONFI scheme of PINs of the chips from EMTEC drive. This is one reason, why I could not read those chips. I took digital multimeter and measured on original PCB. I assigned known PINs from CPU to memory chip. Why Chinese could not use ONFI scheme?

Re: flash drive EMTEC 32GB - can not read chip
My long therm task is continuing....
On introduction... I would like to thanks ROMAN_TS for his help and his time. But those chips are very strange.
Those chips have NON-ONFI PINs layout in this case. You can see it in the pictures. I must made my special reading adapter.
In PC-3000 Flash were both chips detected as chip ID= 0x2CA809DF, MT29F256G08EJAAA. Top chip is connected to CE1/RB1 and buttom chip is on CE0/RB0 of the SM3257EN. Both chips use common DQS0 from microcontroller, but not common CE0/CE1, RB0/RB1 signals.
After reading both chips and adding data to transformation graph of PC-3000 Flash SW, I applied ECC correction, and the SW analyzed XOR pattern 196 (SiliconMotion). I tried to apply on first run, Interleave Elimination, Joining by blocks, Joining by dumps, but I got only thumbnails of JPGs. On second run, I applied after XOR operation, Split by blocks, Joining by blocks, Joining by dumps, but I got only thumbnails of JPGs too. I tried shift order DUMPS, the same result. Technical Support od ACELAB told me, that I does not have second parts of both chips. But I have connected all PINs of chips as on the flash drive PCB, including VCC/GND. Only DQS0 signal could be connected to PC-3000 Flash.
1) How to get second parts of the chips (Is the second part really), if all unused PINs of the chips are not connected on the board nad internaly in the chip too? (first part CE0, second part CE1, but in my case one chip use CE0 a second CE1)
2) Did anyone recover data from this drive/NAND chips? What were your transformation steps?
3) I thought, that I made mistake somewhere. BUT , I took damaged second flash drive EMTEC 32GB from other friend, but result was the same.
