Hi, i have pc3000 portable. Is it possible to check if the drive have logical or physical damage without purchasing ssd addon. Drive is MZ-CPA2560 based on S3C29MAX01-Y340. Please advise what would be best option. New to recovery haven't had any successful case yet.

Does the drive get ready? Can you read drive ID? Can you image in Data Extractor?

So you can use the SATA-based adapter to connected it to SATA port.

If the drive starts ok and only issue is some bad sectors, you can image without purchasing ssd addon.

If the drive if damaged and does not start (has bad translator or other firmware issue) you can deal with it only purchasing ssd addon.

If the drive has a physical issue (like a bad component) you can repair by replacing that component and you can image without purchasing ssd addon.

Drive shows busy status. I dont know which utility to select in pc300.

If you don't have ssd addon there is no utility you can select.

Hi guys!

This drive is fully supported by Samsung 470 Family of SSD. You need to find compatible adapter to plug it via SATA. Such adapter you can buy on eBay (search for MacBook Air 2011 SSD to SATA adapter).

Please note that for access to data, you need to use PC-3000 SSD set. Without this add-on, you will not be able to work with SSD in Techno-Mode.
