Anyone able to recover Samsung 850 Pro 500GB / 1TB models yet?
if anyone has a solution for the higher capacity Samsung 850 Pro drives that aren't yet covered by the pc3k ldr solution, please let me know.

Samsung release a few modifications of Samsung 850 Pro drives. We can work only with the first generation. It's not easy to find out what type of GEN do you have, but theoretically you can do it via the PCB.
For example, supported generation has a square-type PCB, while GEN 2 and GEN 3 are based on L-type PCB.
As I remember, high-capacity models with 512-1024GB appears also in GEN 2 and GEN 3.
The main problem is that Samsung, starting from 850-family completely locked access to Firmware. Now, if you want to upload a microcode, it should have a digital signature. With this protection it's not easy to reach TechnoMode and recover data from this type of the drive.
ACELab developers still working on Samsung drives, but we don't have any estimate time when new Samsung drives will appear in support list.
