Kingston 480GB SA400S37

Postby apuliarecovery » 05.03.25, 20:03

Hello,
I have a 480GB Kingston with CP33238B controller,
the customer deleted the partition and reloaded the OS,
is there a way to recover the old translator to recover thunderbird emails?
Does PC3000 allow you to reverse the trim on this controller?
thanks

Hello. For such cases we have a solution for SM-based drives. Your CP33238B is a rebranded Phison PS3111 SSD. Solution for PS-based drives will be available in the next software update. For now, better not to plug the drive to power supply to prevent TRIM.

Also, in theory, you can try to rebuild the translator in Utility with SAFE MODE, and check DE - probably software will find something in RAW.
With best regards
