Hello.
BSY state means a serious firmware corruption inside the SSD. At this moment we can deal only with a few drives which are based on Marvell controller, where BSY state might be eliminated. They are:
Sandisk Ultra II (Marvell 88SS9187/88/89 and 88SS1074)
Sandisk SSD Plus (88SS1074)
WD Blue (88SS1074)
Plextor M9e (NVME 88SS1093)
Other Marvell-based drives have only limited support. We can rebuild translator and get access to data only if drive returns ID and stays in READY state.
Here is the list of supported drives:

We can work with SM2258XT modification of Crucial MX500, while SM2258H modification is different and not supported.

The list of supported drives you can find here:

Every single manufacturer who is dealing with SM2258 controller is writing its own firmware for SSD. As the result, we should develop a new utility for every single SM2258 case. Right now we can work with Plextor S2C and ADATA SU800. Other models are not listed. Probably we will add them in the future but I don't have any estimated time for now.
At the same time, SM2258XT-based drives are fully supported without any limitations. We can work almost with all existing drives, no matter who is the manufacturer and what is the model name. SM2258XT drives are using very similar firmware which makes our Utilities to be Universal.
