For this specific problem you can repair with manual repair through Bustrace.

What are the full sense keys/codes you get?

I have one Seagate SCSI 146GB hard drive with medium errors.... i tried my best to regenerate translator but no luck at all ... i did try the method written by VIKAS ... but it did not help at all ... it was a easy fix before. ? i can read all the modules OK.. when power up gives me p list errors .. it is not reading plist... utility gives option to upload plist .. can i trick the drives by uploading plist of other drive and regenerate the translators ... any help appreciated

P-list module is unique list of defects and can't be taken from the donor drive/profile folder.
That's why the translator regeneration procedure doesn't fix the problem..
