Hitachi HUA721010KLA330

HI, I newly purchase pc3000 express.Please guide me, did pc3000 not support some hitachi models ? and what is the
solution.

this is not ARM drive i am afraid.
probably you have to select family manually.

thank you for your reply, i tried manually but same result.{cannot identify the hdd family} and some hitachi hdd family not in the hdd reference.can any other solution.

have you tried to enter utility to HITACHI/IBM instead of ARM section ?
The said drive is supported by PC3000.

If you "manually" identified the family, then it's not doing the identifying, YOU ARE! Autodetect doesn't work on most Hitachi drives, you just have to select the proper family, which is easy because they are all marked by the model number.

Thanks for reply,i tried manually and after a lang time software identified that family in custom mode.
If i not understand any problem and solution then, can you guide me?.

The main thing that need to check when you launch Hitachi utility is Techno key recognization.
If Techno key is recognized/detected (you can see it in log report) then you can work in this selected utility.
