Hi,
I've got an issue. I have a drive that gets a single bad sector exactly every 279 lba's. I can see the distinct pattern in the data and calculated the distance between them and it is always the same. SA modules check out ok. The heads had missed the ramp. Opened it in a clean room and unstuck and was able to read on both heads and make complete backup. Any help is appreciated.

Nevermind, gotta be the heads. They just died at 13% imaged. Time to find parts.

One thing i think we all should remember the outer area in hdd is always the source of trouble map it and clone from inner zones to out in forward mode ,Not reverse to keep speed in cloning
