I am new to the game so please bare with me

I have a WD200EB-HDD which does not spin up. I tried replacing the PCB from a donor-drive but nothing seems to happen. Is there any chance of recovering the data without exchanging the platters?

Measure resistance on motor connection (it is described in manual).
