WD30EZRZ-00WN9B0 spins up but stays in BSY then powers down with ERR - need advice

Not very familiar with this family and also a strange problem.. can anyone suggest anything?

MODEL: WD30EZRZ-00WN9B0

Drive spins up normally and makes calibration sound.. but stays in BSY the whole time and continues to spin for a few minutes and then just turns off and just ERR is light up.

Customer says the drive was slowing down and lagging up on him, wouldnt pull up files some times and then just stopped working one day (never dropped). I have ordered parts just in case, waiting for them to arrive.

This is unusual problem for me never seen a WD behave like this. Anyone got any tips?

You'll need to block SA access in ROM, do ldr upload, figure out if the heads are any good, fix up the firmware (most likely need slow responding patch) and start from there.

I have no idea what Yustik is even saying, makes no sense to me.

I deal with exactly the same disk :)
And what does it show when you start utylity in kernel mode?
