WD Platter Replacement (Alignment Issue)

Do you have good success rate about platter replacement of WD 3.5"?
Considering Alignment issue? (motor balance issue)?
Its a 1 platter HDD I am dealing.

It depends on model of WD - older 3.5" (Pre-ROYL) I would say there is problem with it. modern families, I would say not so much

This Motor Balance Issue is a Hoax Created By DFL On their Website And Forums .If you tighten the platter in a cross section with right tongue there is no issue ,I have done several multiplayer drives too
