If I had to wager a guess, I'd say it's Palmer family, which is a new one. You can probably do most things you need to do using another recent family like PebbleB though.

Did you attempt the ROM preparation? Perhaps it's the same SED scheme.

you are right, such drives are SED locked in ROM and have a lot of another different issues. They are not supported in PC-3000 for now.

It's a Palmer drive (other Palmer drives Y0TS, Z10T, UMGS, EW0T)
Palmer drives are locked differently comparing to previous SED families.
Palmer drives are not supported by PC3K(including unlocking procedure), but you can outsource such drives to people who can do them.

vijayan, these drives are still unsupported in PC-3000. It's not possible neither to build head map nor to get SA access now. ACE is working on it now, hopefully they will find the solution.

Working with a Palmer.
Can READ SA. But cant HEAD MAP
TRIED TO IMAGE, MOST DATA AREA SAYS UNREADABLE, REST AREA READS SMOOTH.

Head map editing in RAM and head map building in Data Extractor are not possible for these new drives due to new LBA-CHS conversion.
ACELab developers are woring on it.
