I have a wd40nmzw-11gx6s1 drive with the G80008 rom version.

Whit SED

When I try to load the dir into ram from a file it gives me this error

Statc mdl writing error device detected error: "vsc err inv func code req"

If I try to load the dir into ram from sa it gives me this error
Static module reading error device deteted: "" vsc err inv func code req "

I need the module 11 FW G8008 to read the other modules

Unfortunately haven't a resources with such f/w version.

I don't have it but sometimes Donor Drives will send it if you request it using their contact form and include the SKU number. Here are their listings for WD40NMZW-11GX6S1

Jaime, try to block module 30 access in ROM, then restart the drive ant load Dir and loader from RAM.

I have blocked module 30, power off power on, start in kernel mode them load dir in ram, but send me the same error

In normal mode with module 30 blocked, try to load dir in ram, but does not respond

any other suggest

Which kernel family is the WD40NMZW part of? Is it the newly supported "Blade"?

I've been informed that these are "SpyGlass" family, and it is not possible to access the SA via USB, but potentially OK to access via SATA channels. What is the most appropriate kernel family to boot into for these, PebbleB ?
