WD6400AAKS-75A7B0 ROM Issue

Hi Guys,
I have got an ATLANTIS WD6400AAKS-75A7B0 with PCB 2060-701590-000 REV A. this is a PCB with 192KB interanl emvedded MCU ROM 00050041.
When i got the drive it wasn't starting properly as it looks like the user swapped the PCB, The PCB on it had microcode 000500BU.
Since then i extracted the drive's firmware using hotsswap, amd the FW looks fine, specially the important modules, i re-generated ROM using the extracted FW and burned it to the PCB but it got the PCB bricked. I though it may have been teh regenration process of the ROM that went wrong, so i sourced a donor good FW with ROM 00050041 and burned this ROM to another donor PCB and got the same result, another PCB is bricked again.
I am not sure why it keeps on happening here, does anyon have a clue what is happening with it, and why it happens?
any suggestions will be helpful?
And any idea how to try and reviive the bricked PCB's ?
I didn't received any WD 3.5" Terminal adpater with my PC3K Express so can't connect to terminal and try to restore it.
Cheers
