Dear friends,

we have recevied HDD WD40NMZW -11GX6S1 USB Drive. PCB and ROM chip is dead. Is it possible to rebuild the ROM service area?
An Unlock SATA PCB is available.
We are very grateful for any useful idea. A picture of HDD is included.

Thanks in advance.

109 is a part of the modules so I don't see why not.
This drive may have encryption in the USB PCB MCU, cannot remember off hand.
So if PC-3000 doesn't decrypt on the fly, you may have to use a donor USB PCB and transfer the MCU, and hope that is not dead as well.
