Possible to do SHS on Giant Family Drives

Does anyone know if it's possible to do SHS on a Giant family WD drive? I have all the modules read by composite, but there's too much damage to both copies to fix the drive's own SA. I just can't get ID no matter what I do to the donor, even with all tracks written and modules replaced with the composite ones.

I had a similar situation a while ago, and I seem to remember Ace telling me it is not possible to do a hot swap on a WD produced after the Saddle G6 family. However that is just from memory I could be wrong.

Well I hope that method propagates to Ace Labs soon. Would be great to use it.
