Hey @ all,

i have a WD5000BPVT here and i can start the HDD, i can read the Rom but i can´t load the LDR or anything becaus i get a TechnoKey error...
When the Utility is starting it takes a extrem long time i can here the hdd head but it dosen´t open the Utility in PC3000 only BootCom Mode is working....
LDR Upload isen´t working to becaus it takes also a extrem long time and after waiting i get a error about the TechnoKey...

Anyone an idea?

Hello Luigi!
Have you tried to isolate PCB and block SA access before trying to upload LDR?
If BootCom Mode is working you can rewrite ROM with 'Block SA' option and proceed diagnostic.
If drive can't start even in Kernel mode it makes sense to check with donor PCB (ROM should be transferred from patient).

The Procedure Is

1 : We Block SA Access " Means If We Start HDD It Only Reads Firmware Till PCB Level And Not From Platter "
2 : Then We Upload To RAM " Overlay Modules Mod 11 Etc And Dir Module Which Has All Other Module Address "
3 : After This The HDD Gives Us Full Access To Platter Firmware
4 : We Solve All Firmware Level Issues And Unblock SA Access And Voila

What PC-3000 version you are using?

PC 3000 Express Version 6.2.23.6415

Looks like it's time to update The latest version now is 6.5. The next 6.6 will be soon.
