Selecting firmware for LDR uploading

Hello,

Do we have to select exact same firmware for LDR as the patient drive or nearest firmware version will do?

like, I have WD10TMVV-11BG7S0 0014009N firmware and available versions for download are 0014009W, 001400A2.

Please advise.

All you need to match is the family and the consolidated ROM version. Nothing else matters, not even the model or capacity of the drive.
