For a donor Sata Pcb , IC2 need to be changed .

you need to change U12 only ... BTW if you have pc3000 why bother soldering.
there are other good ways to swap ROM

U12 is a HDD ROM chip. U14 is USB bridge chip. It's better to read the ROM via COM-port, then write it to SATA PCB, this way is more safe than unsoldering.
