Thanks digitalsupport, as far as I remember I was able to do it once before with the same month product with different WD usb model. Is there any tool available to do adjustment to module 4F in ROM from a close donor drive. The Fun part is the customer didn't even mention that

Uniqueness in 4F can make or break the case.
It would be wise to have the 4F investigated.
As said above by lcoughey, it is wise to have many revs tested and see if any match.
in 4F check for offset 0x01C0, if it starts with 9D AA for almost every donor you try then 4F uniqueness has a critical play to solve such a case.
