Postby mscerl » 17.04.16, 20:34

Hi everyone
i connected the WD usb drive through SATA pins(by soldering the wires on the PCB)
when i start the utility, it connects in kernel mode!
what's the problem ?
How can i run it in normal mode?

Hi,
Before You Do Anything Could You Please Read the ROM Of This In USB Mode "Using Toshiba Com Port Adapter " And Program That Read Rom Into a SATA PCB And Try Running It Once .If Its Still In Kernel Mode It could Be A Firmware/Head Issue And We Will Tackle It Later ,First Try This

Kernel mode means the SA hasn't fully loaded into the PCB RAM. It could be the result of bad heads, damaged firmware modules, or a lot of other things.

mscerl, how long the wires are? If they are longer than 1 inch, shorten them, and restart the drive.
