I also have a WD20SMZM-59H3FS1 with 2060-810003 PCB. Did anyone figure out what SATA board is compatible with this model?
I'm assuming these are WD20SPZX converted to USB drives (WD20SMZM) but I could be wrong. Also these drives do not have a DCM; anyone know a good way to match the heads or at least the PCB for SATA on this model???

This looks like Charger and is locked much the same as Palmer so you may need to look into an unlocked PCB for it

Model: wd20smzm-59h3fs1
USB C PCB: 2060-810003-001
2060-800065
Maxim_TS wrote:Source of the post lcoughey, we didn't see such drives here in support.. Have you tried to solder SATA adapter to see if the drive allows to read SA?
This is a charger drive, SA access is locked.
Only with unlock PCB we can do something with that drive.
Re: List of compatible SATA PCB for 2,5" USB drives
can we use 800062-002 for wd20smzw-11yfcs0 usb?
is there two versions of rom?do we need 2 different pcb for these roms or we can only transfer the rom and it works.

Re: List of compatible SATA PCB for 2,5" USB drives
I have just solved the slow responding problem via ROM-soldering on a WD40NMZM (Spyglass) with a USB-C PCB: 2060-810012-000 using a 2060-800022-002 SATA-PCB.
Worked fine, so i think you can add them to the list.

Have you tried using a 2060-771927 or a 2060-771983 board? Looks very similar to those two although some components are moved around.
