Hi @all,

i have a WD USB 2,5" HDD here.
The HDD was by an other Datarecovery Lab.
They open the HDD. So i have also a look into the HDD but the Heads looks good and there are no scrates on the surface.

So i have bought a comp. SATA PCB and change the PCB also i have solderd the ROM from the USB PC to the SATA PCB.

I have make a backup from the ROM Files but i can´t get access on the Data.

What i´v made wrong?

I knwo i must make a Recovery training but i think i have done what Luke Grudnoff the old Owner of Day1 Data told me.

So anyone an idea?

Does the drive get full ID? Did you check modules?

d1d, Block SA access in ROM, restart the drive, and load donor loader to the patient RAM.

Then go to Normal mode and check if Service Area modules are readable.

Luigi, save ROM and ROM modules to the backup folder. Are all ROM modules good in log after the saving?

So i can save the Rom and all Moduls whitout the Modul 30 Translator....

The Moduls and the Rom locks good in Hex...

As Example Modul 0D in Attachments.

Looks like ROM module 30 is damaged. Try to write it from the same ROM FW version donor backup.
