WD20SDRW - 11VUUSO - Problem

Postby Tweety » 21.01.21, 15:36

Hello

I have a WD20SDRW case with a damaged head assembly.

I replaced the heads, the USB PCB did not move.

I connected to PC3000 - read MFT, started data recovery.

I have recovered the data - and new for me ... in the folders where the recovered data is located, some data is damaged and some data is functional (No directory! Problem)

I do not understand why...

An example on the screenshots

Maybe the SMR translator is damaged, or some head is weak and can not read good. Need to use an unlocked SATA PCB to do that.

Make a backup, then return USB PCB back, open the same task in Data Extractor and try to build head map according saved modules.
