ST4000LM024

Postby Miodrag » 29.03.18, 11:46

The drive spins normal but the status is constantly busy, so can't load any information from the drive. When it is load with F3 Arch (common) I get the access to the terminal and here is a terminal response:

Boot 0x80MMD00040001
SpinUp
TCC:001E

The drive has a locked diagnostic port so I can't do anything, the only solution was to try with patching rom, but that didn't help to, because this drive isn't supported by PC3000 yet. Is anybody have a similar problem or have some suggestion what else I can try besides waiting for ACE to implement this patch/family in the PC3000...

Is there any update to this? Are there any patched ROMs for this with an adjusted head map? I need to get a ROM that has Head 0 off and another with Head 1 off in the heads map ad the RAM heads map wont register and shows a constant "ABR". I have the original ROM that i can send to anyone that can help. Thanks!
