I have detected segate rosewood 1 TB hdd.

Model : ST1000LX015-1U7172
Serial : WES29VPA
Firmware : SDM1
Capacity : 1 TB (1 953 525 168)

I can't access the SA Area.
so As per your blog I have patched the Rom.
after patched rom the hdd gives error message in terminal "Verify ALF FW signature failed". No detection, No spin.

Attached the rom file.

I doubt the bug in newer version software.

Which version of pc3k you have?
Only ACE-lab can check and solved this issue. or you can try with different version pached rom.

Pl. patched the rom and send me again if you have higher or different version.

Resolved the case, without the paching rom.

This probably happened because you wrote the wrong using "common" family or the wrong family. Next time, find the family code in ROM after reading, then re-enter utility using that family, then write ROM and it will succeed.

How to identify family code from rom?

Note: latest versions of PC3K show the name of the family now -- next to the family code.

Each and every drive i have patched till today is with common utility ,The only thing i do is that in the rom capacity i enter all zeros so what it auto detects size

Patched ROM and wrote it to drive, in terminal now get error:

Verify ALF FW signature failed

Have written patched ROM with correct Rosewood utility, tried Common utility, put ROM capacity as 0 to autodetect. I've patched lots of Rosewood ROMs with my PC3K, this is the first one that has a problem. Running 6.3.15

Any ideas please?

Pretty sure this is a hybrid, needs special attention and won't unlock as easily as others.
