I did a resistance head test: H0: 0175, H1: 012D.

I tried to backup system files to repair the translator but during copying the translator the process stops.
The rest ie P-list, NRG, HDDID are downloaded corectly.

Can I perform a translator remover in this situation?

AdasRip, looks like the translator is damaged on the surface.
Try to read the translator sysfile with error ignoring by both copies separately.
If you read it, try to write the good translator in one or both SA copies.

If you can't read it or restore from parts, write the translator from same model and FW donor.
Then regenerate it.
If there are no physical bad sectors in translator, it might work.
But check if heads can write first
