I need to create a loader from a previously saved set of resources from a good drive of the same FW version as my bad drive. Is there a method to do this?

If you know the loader version, you can get it from another drive.

Thanks, Amarbir. I remember reading the posts on hddguru about this but it was hardly a simple matter to put the pieces together manually. I would have thought that this would have been a desirable feature in the F3 utility. Perhaps in some future upgrade.

Loader is used when the drive comes to ready state but you can't send any terminal command due to damaged diagnostic overlay. A loader applies the diag ovellay in RAM via ATA command.
For detailed procedure you can read video:

You have to save system file (100 - 105). If you have these system files then contact our TS department (ts.acelab.eu.com) we will create you loader from these files.
