I am not been able to get T> for Seagate Barracuda 500 GB Desktop hard disk. FW is KC45
Disk stays busy and in terminal shows following -
( for only PCB and HDA removed )

Spin Up

Is it because --
1) PCB issue ?
2) PCB non native ?
Pls. help

If you're connecting only the PCB, then that would rule out #2 wouldn't it. It's not magically able to know what HDA you plan to attach it to.
Have you tried shorting the read channel? Also, what terminal error are you getting with the HDA attached?
