ST4000LM024 MCMT Table corrupted : issues during reading sysfiles
Posted: 02.06.25, 15:53
Hi there.
I have a ST4000LM024 who start busy.
Terminal shows MCMT Table corrupted and No HOST FIS-ReadyStatusFlags
I unlock the drive and try to read 348 sys file to go further. (Both 348 & one 21D sys files are corrupted)
Tools -> Utility extensions -> Service iformation objects -> System files
Check the file id I want to save / right click / Read selected to file
When I put terminal at 38400, it crashes after a while with "Terminal : reply timeout error"
When I put 115200 it seems ok.
But I have an error :
Root Sys File 3.348 Rd Err (sect 0x0) !
What the next step ? How can I fix the MCMT table ? and give user area access ?
(it is not https://blog.acelab.eu.com/pc-3000-for-hdd-seagate-f3-mcmtfilehandler-exception-failed-mcmt-read-request-error-and-how-to-fix-it.html)
Thanks !!
