Hello,

On my Windows 10 - both - Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 work correctly.

However, sometimes the terminal stops working.
And then I know that I have to re-solder the pin ends in the terminal connector.

These pins work mechanically (inserting, removing, slight bending) and from time to time a cold solder is formed.
As in the picture below (the points in picture no. 1 are especially important).

If you only have a problem with Seagate drives, then it is a problem with these cold solders behind the Seagate connector.
If the terminal is also invisible under other tools (e.g. Samsung or Toshiba), then also check the ribbon connecting the terminal to the connector.
It also works and can break the wire sometime.

That could be the case. Will check with another connector. Thanks

Hello,

1) you using terminal ver.2 which doesn't allow to supply 1.8V, that's why utility showing a warning message.

2) this drive is SED locked and for SED bypassing / getting firmware access requires ROM patch.
