Hello,
I have a problem with the 2.5 "Seagate Rosewood ST2000LM007.
Disk starts (normal sounds), full ID - except capacity (0 MB).
I copied almost full SA, without errors - unfortunately except both copies of the translator are unreadable.
I have module of translator from 0 copy. I was able to read almost everything - except the first few sectors.
I'm including this damaged module - 02B err.rpm.
Sorry to have to convert the attached file from .rpm to .txt but the forum doesn't accept .rpm ...
(Copy translator of 1 is more damaged.)
I did not perform any activities related to SA.
I am asking for tips and help - how can I restore access to my data.
Thank you in advance
Regards for all
Igen

Hi all,
TS helped me and solved the case.
The solution is in the section 4.6 of the F3 Seagate manual (SMR Disk Translator).
We need to fix (checksums) and overwrite (via ATA indirect) this sysfile.
Of course - this only applies to such a situation - when we have a damaged header (first sectors) of the translator ...
