100535704-Seagate Short pins

The Seagate PCB no. 100535704 once connected to PC-3000 remains in busy state. Please suggest a solution. Also provide shortening points of the said Seagate PCB. Thank you.
Would be easier to help you if you post model and terminal output.
For shorting points use search in forum - shorting is not a universal solution and can cause data loss if you don´t know whats wrong with the drive.
