Postby datasalvage » 15.02.24, 02:47

Hello guys hows your new year?
i received this drive that doesnt spin at all and stay BSY with error LED:0x000000BD FAddr:0x000059D8

iv tried the official guide https://blog.acelab.eu.com/how-to-fix-a ... -chip.html

but with donor PCB "after Repeat the unlocking steps (1-6) " i cannot enter the command OI1 ..... i will get LED:0x000000BD FAddr:0x000059D8 !AGAIN
and if i skip this command and Repeat the unlocking steps (7-9). the drive spinds but i get Waiting drive spin up ! therefore i cannot use the terminal !
with original PCB is the same.....the drive spins if i change to 82 34 56 78 but i cant enter the command OI1
i also noticed that nomatter how many times i write the patient rom into DONOR PCB it will show the SN of the DONOR.........
any help will be very very helpfull

Those above contacts are for the motor. Are you trying to short the motor? Short after initialization. You may want to incorporate a paperclip into your tweezers. There should be a blog post that should help you with this also.
