My guess, the indication of 1002 seems to point to NRG list or P list issue.

Usually, that error is the result of a non-original PCB or non-original ROM. Check if the customer already tried a PCB swap.

Like I said last time. It's almost always because it's not the original PCB / ROM

I too am having a similar problem, I found that it wasn't the original PCB though and asked the user for the original one. He still had it and I verified the serial number once I attached it. However, Im still getting that error as well??? Anyone have a solution for this? Thanks, Glen

SIM Error 1002. its means the p list damaged or corrupted. also there is a way to fix this issue. in my dfl , there is one click to fix 1002 error. but after fixing the error will gone, but recovery speed is very low.
