Is it possible to work with just 1 system head in grenada?

Drive has 2 heads, 1 platter.
Platter 0 has many ring scratches on it. I have just changed heads and cleaned up mess. Platter 1 is still fine.
is it possible to recover a Grenada with just platter 1?

Unlikely, but you can try to set the physical headmap in the ROM to 01 01 and see what happens.

Just remember that even if you succeed in imaging just one platter, you still lose 50% of the raw data. Unless the customer just needs a few specific files that happen to reside on the one good platter, the odds of a successful outcome are very slim.

Yeah. I had tried modifying headmaps first, didnt work.... yet another trashed grenada.
