ST000524AS firmware JC4A - CAPACITY ERROR - SHOWING 31.8 MB

Dear Friends ,

I have received seagate hard disk ,Dive model and Sn number reading good but size showing 31.8 MB ,Hard disk head and platter condition are good ,All commands are implemented ...
got same result ,Please help me to get data

If sector edit works and T> is present and all SA tables load, then I would check if HPA has been set. Try to set max LBA and check it.

Otherwise, problems with capacity could relate to translator issue, though this would usually display as 0mb, or some read error as capacity is stored at SA and if for some reason this cannot read, capacity cant be shown.

Check HPA first.

How i check HPA ? please explain me the steps
